WISEGUY
DECLASSIFIED
There's
an expression that the candle that burns twice as bright lasts only half as
long, and that may be explanation enough that in its original incarnation
Wiseguy only lasted three seasons in its network run. Yet despite the
limited number of episodes that were produced, the show has endured and
that's a direct testament to the power of the show's cast, scripts and
production.
Since OCB Agent Vincent Michael Terranova turned in his Federal badge, fans
have only had a single reunion movie (in 1996) to quench an insatiable
thirst for the show. But things are changing, however, thanks to the DVD
release of the series from Ventura Distribution and our own efforts to keep
Wiseguy alive via novelizations of aired arcs, original arcs in novel
form, illustrated dossiers and brand new comic book adventures.
This site --
www.wiseguyfiction.com -- is one that will be in a state of evolution,
so check in often for updates on what is happening in the fictional world of
Vinnie Terranova. Feel free to write us with any questions you may have.
Hope you find this return of Wiseguy to be as enjoyable as we do.
