Trek Classic: From "The Cage" to "The Undiscovered Country" CD-Rom Now Available

Culled from the pages of three out of print behind-the-scenes books on the original Star Trek comes one incredible CD-Rom containing dozens of original interviews, guides to every voyage of Captain Kirk's Enterprise, audio interviews with William Shatner, Leonard Nimoy and DeForest Kelley, and much more.

It begins with the complete text of Trek Classic: 25 Years Later, a detailed look at the 1966-69 series, from its creation at the hands of Gene Roddenberry through each episode of its sometimes turbulent three-season run on NBC. From there it's an excerpt from the "revised edition" of The Making of the Trek Films, which is a 30,000 word chronicle of events in the Star Trek universe between 1970 and 1978, including every attempt to resurrect the series (among them the Star Trek Phase II television series). And it concludes with the complete text of the "1995 Edition" of The Making of the Trek Films, which goes behind the scenes of Star Trek: The Motion Picture, The Wrath of Khan, The Search For Spock, The Voyage Home, The Final Frontier and The Undiscovered Country.

There are a number of added bonuses, as well, including an in depth retrospective of Star Trek: Generations, which brought Shatner's Captain Kirk together with Patrick

Stewart's Captain Picard; audio interviews with Shatner, Nimoy and Kelley that were conducted at the time of The Undiscovered Country's release; and a 33-page retrospective of William Shatner's sci-fi TV movie series, TekWar.

The Trek Classic: From "The Cage" to "The Undiscovered Country" CD-Rom is available for $6.95 (domestic postage included). This title can be ordered online  by credit card or paypal, or  by calling M&R Multimedia at (516) 799-6998; or you can mail checks or money orders to M&R Multimedia, 1010 Park Blvd., Massapequa Park, New York 11762.
